What a question looks like
A regional bakery chain is offered a loan to open four new locations. You get three years of income statements, a balance sheet, and sales for each existing store. Should the owner take the loan? Which number matters most, and why?
What a good answer does
A good answer checks if each existing store makes money before it looks at total revenue growth. It names the one assumption the decision depends on.
